Once we receive your application, we will be in touch to discuss the next steps, and to schedule a telephone interview (if preferred) to discuss your needs and wants in choosing the right puppy and to answer any questions that you may have.

We take extensive care in our adoption process and require that each potential buyer completes an application before we can consider and determine if The Doberman Company is the right fit for you and your family.
Interview
After completing your application, we will be in touch to schedule a telephone interview (if preferred) to discuss the next steps, your needs and wants in choosing the right puppy and to answer any questions that you may have.
Agreement & Deposit
Our purchase agreement is sent to be signed by both parties; (a copy of the signed agreement will also be sent to you to keep for your records), and a $1,000 reservation deposit is made to reserve your puppy and to be placed on our waitlist.
We will continue to stay in contact with you throughout the entire process to ensure that you are kept up to date with each and every detail of your new puppy including but not limited to regular photos and/or Facetime video calls (if preferred) for you to personally see your puppy's growth and development once born, regular updates regarding vaccinations, ear crop and dock preferences, and anything else that you may want to discuss, request or have questions about.
Placement order proceeds in order of reservation or waitlist deposit received.
Placement is also determined upon the temperament of each puppy and how they will best perform for and meet their new owner's needs, whether it be to become a loyal family companion, show dog, personal protection dog, professional working dog, or therapy/service dog.
It is our goal to make the adoption process as smooth and secure for you as we possibly can.

At The Doberman Company, we offer in-house, no credit check, flexible monthly payment plans, as well as financing options through third party lenders. We understand that adopting a new puppy is a substantial financial commitment and we want to make it possible for each of our customers to have a positive experience when it comes to paying for their new puppy. With a payment plan or financing, you don't need to stress about having to come up with all of the funds immediately which allows you the opportunity to conveniently spread the cost over time; allowing you more time to prepare for your new family member to come home.

Payment methods accepted include Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH bank transfers, and all major debit and credit cards including but not limited to Visa, Mastercard, American Express (AMEX), Discover, etc.
Reservation Deposits and payments may also be completed and accepted via Invoice, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle based upon your preference.
